Over time I am doing my best to build credibility and trust with you all. Here are the YouTube video script and video attached below. This level of honesty is what is desperately needed in the world of addiction, not anonymous.

Target Audience: Josh (45-year-old man trying to moderate his drinking)
Style: Walking and Talking (energetic, conversational, like you’re on a walk with him)
Length: ~10 minutes

00:00 – 00:45 – THE HOOK (Resonate with His Pain)

[Look directly into the camera with a knowing smile]
“So, it’s almost Labor Day weekend. The unofficial, God-given right for every American to get absolutely, royally… wrecked. From Friday night straight through to Monday evening. Am I right?”

[Pause, let that sink in]

“Let me ask you a question: How much are you already planning to drink? And more importantly… how brutal is that hangover on Tuesday morning gonna be? The kind where you have to check your phone to see what you texted? Where you have to ask your wife what stupid thing you said?”

“That anxiety you’re feeling right now? That hidden fear that this might be the weekend your family finally has enough? I get it. I’ve been there. But what if I told you there’s a way to actually enjoy this weekend? To have fun, have a few drinks, and still wake up feeling like a human being, remembering all the good times?”

“Stick with me for 10 minutes. I’m gonna give you the exact plan I use for what I call the ‘Horrible Holidays.’ No judgment, just practical tips to get you through with balance and peace.”

00:45 – 02:30 – ACKNOWLEDGE THE REALITY (Build Trust)

“You’ve probably already got the whole weekend planned out, right? Camping, boating, a backyard BBQ. You’re gonna go hard Friday night to ‘start the weekend right.’ You’ll try to nurse the hangover with Bloody Marys on Saturday. Sunday, you’re on the fence—do I keep going or try to recover? And Monday? Who knows, it’s a coin toss.”

[Chuckle]
“Sounds familiar? It’s the American playbook. But it’s a playbook that leaves us feeling like garbage, full of regret, and one step closer to another family argument. You don’t want that. You just want to enjoy your damn weekend.”

02:30 – 07:30 – THE PLAN (The Practical, Actionable Advice)

“Alright, here’s the plan. It’s simple, but it works. You just have to commit to it.

Rule #1: NO BACK-TO-BACK DAYS.
If you drink Friday night, Saturday is a hard stop. Your body is not a trash can. Saturday is for nursing that hangover. I’m talking water, electrolytes, maybe a turmeric or milk thistle supplement to help your liver out. Get some probiotics in you. Eat real food. Your goal for Saturday is to reset.

Rule #2: SET A HARD LIMIT.
When you drink on Sunday, you set a limit. And I’m not just talking about quantity—though that’s huge. Maybe for you, it’s six beers, one bottle of wine. But also set a TIME limit. ‘I’m stopping at 7 PM.’ Or ‘I’m done two hours before we leave.’ This does one thing: it gives you back control. You’re not a passenger on the drunk train anymore; you’re the driver.

Rule #3: THE PAYOFF (Focus on the Positive)
“If you follow this, here’s what happens: You minimize the hangovers. You drastically reduce the chance of a blackout or doing something you’ll regret. You actually remember the fun you had with your friends and family. And maybe, just maybe, your wife looks at you on Monday morning and thinks, ‘Wow, he actually has it together.’”

07:30 – 09:00 – THE BIGGER PICTURE (Tie to the Value Proposition)

“This isn’t about deprivation. It’s the exact opposite. It’s about freedom. Freedom from anxiety, freedom from regret, freedom from hangovers. It’s about bringing balance back to your life so you can actually enjoy these moments instead of just surviving them.”

“You get to have your cake and eat it too—you can enjoy a drink and still wake up with your dignity and a clear head. That’s peace. That’s the goal.”

09:00 – 10:00 – CALL TO ACTION (CTA)

“If this was helpful—if you’re even a little bit tempted to try this plan this weekend—do me a huge favor: Like this video, and share it with one buddy who needs to hear it. You might save him a world of hurt.”

“And if you’re ready to get more of this—to finally build a life where you’re in control—hit that Subscribe button and ring the bell. I’m here to help you find that balance.”

“Have a safe, fun, and rememberable Labor Day weekend. Thanks for walking with me. I’ll see you in the next one.”
