The Wake-Up Call
For months, I’ve struggled to grow Grateful Truce on YouTube—despite life-changing content about alcoholism, moderation, and faith. The hard truth? Great messages need great packaging.
Today, I’m publicly committing to a 10-day bootcamp to transform my videos. Why? Because the 72 million Americans battling addiction deserve a voice that actually reaches them.
The Problem
- 8 subscribers (God bless you early believers)
- Videos with 20 views (mostly the devout and spam bots)
- A message too urgent to stay unheard
The Solution
I’m learning:
- AI-animated videos (like the 35-second teaser below)
- Selfie-stick storytelling (raw, but needs polish)
- Desk commentaries (breaking down recovery myths)
Watch My First AI-Animated Video
What’s Working:
- The sci-fi vibe grabs attention (no more boring talking heads)
- Music sets mood (hope + urgency)
- Short runtime (algorithm-friendly)
What’s Missing (Help Me!):
- Smoother script (too many “ums”)
- Stronger call-to-action (I’ll add “subscribe” prompts)
- Your feedback (comment below or on YouTube)
Why This Matters
Every 100 views could mean:
- 1 person finding Jesus instead of jail
- 1 family spared addiction’s wreckage
- 1 breakthrough for the 90% AA fails
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” —Colossians 3:23
